Winter 2025 Registrations open in Term 1, 2025!

Age grouping for the Winter season can be found in the chart below along with season dates and a general overview of the season dates and structure.
Please note the new (opt in) Under 8s competition running on a Friday mostly out of kew High.

Please also note that U22s is now shifted to Sunday afternoons (post 5pm) at Kew High and Balwyn High as the primary locations.

 

* There are no longer representative points systems impacting team composition.

* There is no longer a limit to WHEN a team can use a fill in (or how many up to 10 total players).

* All A grade divisions will also have an A Reserve finals series.

WINTER OVERVIEW:

​

The Titans Winter product will include a series of grading and regular season rounds  and 2 rounds of finals (played by the top 4 teams in any given division). 
The regular season will run over term 2 & 3 with the finals being played in the last 2 weeks of term 3. We do not run games on public holiday weekends or inside the school holidays. This season being slightly different in that we will have an option to play on the Labour Day weekend (March 10).

Registrations will open early in Term 1, 2024 and you can register you interest completing the expression of interest form under the Winter 2025 tab (new players and coaches only).

If you are planning to start a full team, you can still get ahead of the game by making sure you have 7-8 players (we advise against 9 or more and require 7 to enter the group) as well as working out what night of the week will suit the team for training. This helps us help you!
 

 

SEASON OUTLINE:
 

TRAININGS:
Trainings are scheduled for every week there is a round of competition scheduled (even if you have a bye). Teams can opt to not train or to train at a venue that they source themselves at a reduced seasonal rate.

GAME DAY:

Games are played local to the Hawthorn/Balwyn/Kew/Richmond/Camberwell area and game times run on a young first and progressively older through the day model. This allows for a degree of predictability. Venues are allocated randomly when the fixture is created by the league. Games times start at 8:30am (Under 9s playing first) and work throughout the day in order of age groups. The latest time slots over summer were 6:15pm and are obviously mostly relevant to Under 22s and Under 18s. Under 22s run on a Sunday afternoons and the CBL has introduced an Under 8s competition on a Friday night (run mostly out of Kew High School after school
